Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (MIGHTY MO) (5-2) - Lightly-raced son of the successful young sire 'Uncle Mo' is shortening up in distance after missing by a 'neck' going 8.5 furlongs at Aqueduct April 23 in a $100K stakes. He's worked fast twice since and draws a perfect outside post for this seven furlong contest.
2nd pick: #5 (Too Discreet) (4-1) - Grey colt was a perfect two for two last year as a 2-year-old. He was an impressive gate-to-wire winner going 5.5 furlongs on the Saratoga turf Aug 2, then rallied to win a $95K stakes there at the same trip Aug 21. Sent in for an eight month layoff, he finished four lengths behind 'Mighty Mo' in his return to action April 23. Generazio home bred was a bit rank in the first half-mile and should be much more composed with that come-backer out of the way.
3rd pick: #6 (John Q Public) (12-1) - Longshot is the field's most experienced runner. He's winless in three starts on the grass, but was competitive in each, all in stakes races. Colt has a flexible running style and finished second in a $300,000 race at this distance on the Kentucky Downs turf Sept 5. Dangerous at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (Conquest See Ya) (2-1) - He was a sharp maiden winner here going six furlongs on the grass April 30. He has the rail and is moving way up in class for his first facing winners. $600,000 2-year-old purchase is a threat, but is no 'lock' at a short price.
