Top pick: #8 (A LOT) (8-5) - Lightly-raced and well bred, stalker sips in from Kentucky where he just failed in the American Turf (G2) on the Kentucky Derby undercard. He's improved overall since trainer Bill Mott added Lasix two starts back. $410K son of 'Tapit' broke his maiden on this surface last Sept. and draws a nice outside post for this 7-furlong $100K stakes. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #4 (Croninthebarbarian) (2-1) - He's racing off a big trainer switch to Chad Brown (31% with new arrivals to his barn). Freshened up since early March, colt went 4-0-1-2 in a series of two-turn turf stakes this past winter at Gulfstream. Stretch runner has been working steadily on the deep training track at Saratoga and is a win threat with his best.

3rd pick: #7 (Bridget's Big Luvy) (5-1) - Speedy colt goes dirt to turf and shortens up in distance. He tired badly after setting a fast pace in the G1 Arkansas Derby April 11th. This is his first ever on the turf, but he's bred for it and had a bullet 5-furlong breeze on this grass course May 10th. His early speed makes him dangerous in this field.

4th pick: #5 (St Louis) (12-1) - He rallied to win by a 'head' when getting his maiden win on this course going 6-furlongs April 29th. Only his second start, it was his first since late Sept. Son of 'Arch' has plenty of room for upside and trainer Alan Goldberg is having a fine year so far.
