Top pick: #11 (LADY KREESA) (6-1) - Very lightly raced filly moves way up in class after a good looking maiden win here going 8.5-furlongs on June 6. She just missed when debuting at a mile in her previous start and draws a nice outside post at this seven-furlong trip. Home-bred by "Stonesider" has a solid shot at a square price.
nd pick: #10 (Old Harbor) (12-1) - Stalker just missed here going six-furlongs June 1 and has improved noticeably since moving to the turf. Filly has talent, a fine post, and enters off a career best "figure." Strong factor at long odds.
rd pick: #9 (Hey Kiddo) (10-1) - Consistent (6-1-4-0) sort has excellent early speed and will be stretching out in distance and moving to the grass, both for the first time. She should be involved every step at a big price.
th pick: #3 (Selenite) (8-1) - She's from the same barn (Dave Donk) as "Lady Kreesa," and the two race uncoupled. Grey filly is the only one entered with multiple turf wins (two), and one of those came on this course. Donk has her making back-to-back starts for the first time since last fall, and she was a bit "short" last out. Stretch threat.
th pick: #5 (Miss Narcissist) (5-1) - One of three entered by trainer Linda Rice, and the trio race as separate betting interests. Double stakes winner on the dirt, speedy daughter of "Freud" is working nicely on this course for her first ever on the turf. Bred for the surface, and her early speed must be respected.
