Top pick: #6 (D' FUNNYBONE) - Ultra-impressive win at the "Spa" in the "Saratoga Special" and it came in his first start off a purchase by Paul Pompa and a transfer to the barn of Richard Dutrow. Colt has a very fast work at Aqueduct to set him up for this and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Discreetly Mine) - Speedy son of "Mineshaft" looked sharp breaking his maiden at Saratoga August 22 and in his previous race he had finished a pace-setting/pressing fourth to "Dublin" who went on to win the "Hopeful" (G1) next out. Colt has three extremely fast drills since the win. Big factor today.
3rd pick: #7 (Thiskyhasnolimit) - He broke slow in the "Saratoga Special" and rushed up into the pace before tiring badly. Race was his first in seven weeks and colt has a fast drill at Saratoga on Sept. 7. Don't sell too short.
