Top pick: #1 (DREAM PEACE) - She's been all over the world in her 14 starts and has proven to be a very good filly against some formidable competition. A Group 2 winner in France, this Irish-bred daughter of "Dansili" finished second last out in saratoga's G1 Diana and the recently retired mare that defeated her (Winter Memories) is a top-class runner. This 4-year-old has been working sharply for this, draws the rail, and is the choice in a strong field.
2nd pick: #4 (I'm a Dreamer) - Another Irish-bred and this world-class mare comes off an impressive victory in Arlington's (G1) Beverly D stakes on Aug. 18. She kept the best of company in the United Kingdom and last yaer she missed by a head in the prestigious E.P. Taylor (G1) at Woodbine in her first trip to this continent. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Zagora) - French-bred mare was handled by "Peace" in the Diana at Saratoga, but it came off a two month break and she came right back to take the G2 Ballston Spa a month later. Can factor, but would need her very best for any chance of knocking off the top two picks.
