Top pick: #1 (CARIBBEAN SUNSET) - Proven at this level she had little chance when sent to Del Mar Sept. 9 on their speed-favoring turf course and she did well to finish third. Very steady runner and this 10 furlong distance should be perfect for her. The horse to beat from about 2-4 lengths off the pace.
2nd pick: #7 (Moneycantbuymelove ) - Talented European is steadily improving and last out when she finished third in the "Nassau stakes" (Eng G1) she earned a very lofty "Time Form" rating (a rough equivalent of our Beyer figures). Proven at this distance and she runs with lasix for the first time. Jockey Jeremy Spencer makes the trip with her. She should be viewed as the equal of the top selection.
3rd pick: #4 (Dynaforce) - Hard hitter is proven at this elevated level and also at this distance. She's raced well here in the past (2-1-1-0) and has enough tactical speed to be in this from start-to-finish.
