Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (SIGNIFICANT FORM) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Chad Brown and the pair race uncoupled. Competitive in all five starts, she finished second to today's rival 'La Signare' here in a G3 stakes going 9 furlongs June 7. It was not one of Irad Ortiz Jr's better rides as she had to rally while 5-wide before missing by a length. She's worked twice since, has the rail, a flexible style, and $575,000 purchase gets top billing.
nd pick: #8 (Thewayiam) (10-1) - One the field's more experience fillies, she's gone 5-3-2-0 this year with all of those starts coming in stakes races. French bred missed by a 'neck' last out in the $200,000 Penn National Oaks and this stretch runner is dangerous at a square price.
rd pick: #4 (Capla Temptress) (6-1) - Irish bred ships from France where she missed by a 1/2 length in a $600,000 (Group 1) stakes at Longchamp May 13. It was her first since Nov 3 when when she was beaten 4 lengths in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) at Del Mar. She had a very rough trip that day but had won the G1 Natalma Stakes at Woodbine in her previous start on Sept. 17. Team Valor filly must be left in the mix.
th pick: #7 (La Signare) (4-1) - Lightly-raced French import went gate-to-wire when a length better than 'Significant Form' here in a G3 June 7. She's breezed twice since, her flexible style is a plus, and she has plenty of room for upside.
th pick: #5 (Toinette) (5-1) - Freshened up since May 4, daughter of 'Scat Daddy' rallied from well back to win Churchill's G3 Edgewood Stakes that afternoon. Steadily improving filly has worked four times here since arriving and she should enjoy this 10-furlong trip.
