He won his debut at Saratoga 13-months ago, so you know he can fire fresh. Takes this if ready.
2nd pick: #4 (Saltine Warrior) (8-1) - Veteran enters off a win at this level going 6.5 furlongs at Saratoga Aug 24. It came in his second when following a Jeremiah Englehart claim and an eight week freshening. Can factor right back at a square price.
3rd pick: #2 (Jet Black) (5-1) - Consistent colt cuts back in distance following a rather poor effort Aug 26 at Saratoga. He was going nine furlongs in the $250K Albany Stakes and has worked fast since. Three-year-old likes it at Belmont 3-2-1-0 and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #10 (Beyond the Green) (12-1) - Longshot has been on the sidelines for just under two months. He as some talent, but most of his best efforts have come going longer distances. A fast and/or contested pace would help his chances out.
