Top pick: #8 (MADAKET MILLIE) (5-2) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Giant's Causeway" chased and weakened to finish a distant third racing here going 8.5-furlongs on Oct. 5. The winner of that contest looks headed for better things, so the overall effort of this filly was encouraging. She draws a nice outside o]post at this "flat" mile and speed/stalker catches a field with almost no other pace. In the barn of leading trainer Chad Brown and the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #3 (Pebble Beach Baby) (2-1) - Philly Park invader was an easy winner there going two turns facing weaker on Sept. 13. It was her first off a Ramon Preciado claim and first outside of California. One-run type has worked fast since her Philly score and is a major threat in her Belmont debut.

3rd pick: #2 (Malibu Queen) - Daughter of "Malibu Moon" has been sharp in almost all her starts since coming off almost a three month layoff on April 10th. Four-year-old was an easy winner here going 7-furlongs on the turf Oct. 3, and is moving back to the dirt She's won on the main track in the past and is 6-1-1-1 at this trip.

4th pick: #6 (Streethomealabama) (6-1) - Kentucky shipper just missed on the Ellis Park turf racing for a $30K tag Aug. 29. Claimed that day by Bill Hefner, strong finisher has gone 5-0-3-1 on dirt in the past and would benefit greatly if the pace were to be fast/and or contested. If not, she may be relegated to a minor award.
