Top pick: #5 (PHANTASTICUS) - Improving filly races first off a Jamie Ness claim( an impressive 39% winning angle). Speed/stalker has run well in three straight grass sprints and is drawn inside of the other pace. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (A.P.Hutchy) - One of two fillies entered by trainer Linda Rice and the pair race uncoupled. She tired last out to finish 6th after pressing a fast pace, but had been very sharp in her previous pair. Has a flexible style and that's always a plus.
3rd pick: #11 (Vicola) - The 2nd of the Rice trained fillies is lightly raced, improving, and has a good closing kick. Latest saw her rally to finish 4th here at this price Sep 27th and she'll run with blinkers on for the first time.
4th pick: #6 (Believe in Betty) - Grey filly didn't fire at all last out, but 3yo was "bumped" at the break and tired after rushing up. Her previous start saw her miss by a neck racing at Saratoga at this price, and a repeat of that effort puts her in the mix.
