Top pick: #10 (TURN UP THE MUSIC) - Lightly-raced and improving son of "Quiet American" was a convincing and visually impressive maiden winner at Saratoga on Sept. 4 going 5.5 furlongs. Speed/stalker has worked three time since and draws a nice post for his style. Dominguez stays put and he wins at a 32% rate when riding for trainer Jim Bond who is at 19% overall. The top selection.
2nd pick: #3 (Wee Freudian) - Gelding tries hard every time and will go dirt to turf in this spot. One-run type finished a close-up fourth at Saratoga the last time he sprinted on the turf and he had a poor start that day.
3rd pick: #9 (Hooligan's Delight) - His career (which was going nowhere) turned around the day he moved to the turf. He's (12-2-3-1) since then and both of those grass wins are local. Win candidate in this spot.
4th pick: #4 (Barrel of Love) - He's been at this level a long time, but enters this off a solid pair of back to back efforts at Saratoga. Strong finisher is a stretch threat in this spot.
