Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (BARRIER TO ENTRY) (7-2) - Consistent veteran has finished close up in all four starts this year and enters off a second place finish here at this level going six furlongs Sept. 8. Gets a slight edge in a competitive contest.
nd pick: #3 (Broken Borders) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she won two in a row here during May and June but went both wide and evenly July 29 at Saratoga. Freshened up since, mare drops in class, shortens back up, and all three career wins have been on the Belmont grass.
rd pick: #8 (Paz the Bourbon) (4-1) - Three-year-old continues to race evenly. A bit of improvement was noted here Sept. 8 when she finished fourth at this level. Only just under a length behind 'Barrier to Entry' that day and Castellano stays aboard.
th pick: #10 (Rockin Alli) (20-1) - Longshot wasn't far behind both 'Barrier to Entry' and 'Paz the Bourbon' last out and is capable of getting a slice of this at a big price.
th pick: #7 (Driven by Speed) (5-1) - Lightly-raced and speedy, she won two in a row before tiring badly Sept. 4 at Saratoga. Her maiden came here at this trip May 4 and this Pletcher trained filly is a bit dangerous in this spot.
