Top pick: #8 (TABREED) (5-2) - English-bred finished a strong second when making her North American debut at Gulfstream on March 16th. Race was her first in four months and she had been competitive in all five races in France before heading across the Atlantic. The top pick, she's one of two entered here by trainer Chris Clement and the pair race uncoupled.
2nd pick: #3 (White Rose) (7-2) - Grey daughter of "Tapit" has been freshened up since getting her maiden win at Gulfstream on March 8th. She's gone (3-1-2-0) since switching to the grass, is in the Mott barn, annd is working both frequently and above average for her first against winners.
3rd pick: #7 (Midnight Watch) (4-1) - Like all Darley runners, she's well-bred and improved dramatically last out. Racing here at this trip on May 5th, she broke on top, set a modest pace, and went wire-to-wire to pick up her maiden win and earn a pretty high "figure." Home-bred by "Stormy Atlantic" has worked fast since and is a threat right back.
4th pick: #4 (South Shore) (5-1) - The second of the Clement fillies, daughter of "Arch" is improving and proved last out thar she can be competitive facing winners. In shape, and a stretch threat at a square price.
