Top pick: #5 (NEXT QUESTION) (3-1) - The "class" of the field, he upset the (G1) "Neartic" stakes on Oct. 14 at Woodbine, then ran very wide while only beaten 4 lengths in the "Breeders' Cup Grass Sprint" (G1). Away for 5 1/2 months following that effort, he came up a 1/2 length short in his seasonal debut at Keeneland April 13th in the "Shakertown Sprint" (G3). Working fast since, he's (2-1-1-0) on this course and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Pacific Ocean) (7-2) - Grade 3 winner on both "Poly" and conventional dirt, speedy gelding will be trying the grass for the first time. Un-raced since late Oct., he's a major factor if he takes to the new footing.
3rd pick: #6 (Saint Pete) (8-1) - Very consistent when facing weaker, his overall record on the grass is (8-4-2-1) and he ships up from Gulfstream in shape. Speed/stalker should be involved from star-to-finish at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Spring to the Sky) (5-1) - He's one of two entered by trainer Bruce Brown and the pair race uncoupled. He's a stakes winner on this course in the past and is working very fast for his first race since late Oct. Dangerous if ready off the long layoff.
