Top pick: #5 (ELENA STRIKES) (7-2) - Daughter of "Smart Strike" set a quick and pressured pace and held to finish second at this level going 7-furlongs at Aqu. on April 10th. It was her second back from a six month absence and trainer Todd Pletcher has worked her twice since. Looks set for her best.
2nd pick: #8 (Masasi) (3-1) - Strangely enough, she's the only filly entered who has raced on this surface in the past, and that produced a sharp maiden win last October. Daughter of "More Than Ready" earned a career best figure that day and one-run type is working fast for her first since Feb 1st.
3rd pick: #4 (Lost in Success) (6-1) - Lightly-raced filly by "Successful Appeal" has been sharp in all her starts 5-2-1-2 and stalker enters off a good-looking allowance score at Aqu. on April 11. Four-year-old has had a pair of maintenance works to keep her fit and she must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Frivolity) (5-2) - She's the morning line favorite and has been freshened up since a pair of back-to-back wins at Laurel last winter. Filly by "Corinthian" is working bullets at Fair Hill for her first since March 6th and it's noted that Castellano is aboard. A factor, but I think she'll be over-bet.
