Premium Pick

Top pick: #2 (MICROMANAGE) (5-2) - He's always been highly thought of by trainer Todd Pletcher and enters off a career best when he was an impressive winner of the "Skip Away" stakes (G3) at Gulfstream March 29. Son of "Medaglia d'Oro" has been working fast at Palm Meadows before shipping here and draws a nice inside post for this rarely run 10-furlong trip. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #3 (Mr Palmer) (6-1) - He also had some "promise" at one time and finished fourth in the 2013 edition of the $1m "Wood Memorial" (G1). Given a half-year off following that start, he's raced himself back into top form and speed/stalker should be involved from start-to-finish.

3rd pick: #6 (Ground Transport) (7-2) - The main speed, he comes up from Laurel where he ran a career best when going wire-to-wire in a 4100k stakes March 22. He defeated "Palmer" that afternoon and has been staying in shape working on the Keeneland "poly" for this attempt. Must be left in the three-horse win mix.

4th pick: #1 (Ever Rider) (5-1) - Argentine import has the rail, early speed, and ships from Santa Anita where he finished second in the G3 "Tokyo City" stakes going 12-furlongs on the dirt March 29. A stakes winner in his native land, and this "long winded" type will have no trouble with the distance.
