Top pick: #9 (BAROCCI) - Japanese-bred colt kept some very lofty company when racing in France and he earned some excellent Time Form "figures" (roughly equivalent to Bayer speed "figs"). In his final race of 2011 he finished second in a $110K Group 3 stakes and did not race again until May 13th when he just miseed here at this level going a mile. The added two furlongs today is a plus and 4-year-old is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Change of Command) - He's 5-for-10 racing on the turf and last out he set the pace and weakened in the last furlong to finish second here at this level going 8.5 furlongs May 31st. Race marked a carer best and was his first on this surface. Dangerous speed/stalker.
3rd pick: #8 (Kangaroo) - He exits the same May 13th contes as Barocci and he ran a strong third, only a length back of that rival. In shape, likes this surface(3-1-1-1), and gelding by "Indian Charlie" has a flexible style.
