Top pick: #6 (VIVA LA FLAG) - Lightly raced and beautifully-bred, she's making her third start of the season and draws outside of the other speed. Daughter of "Rahy" has a nice stalking gear and is well-spotted today to pick up the win.
2nd pick: #1a (Encanto Park) - The probable main speed finished second on May 21 at this level and distance after setting all the pace and tiring in the last 1/16th. Effort was her best ever and she's an obvious win candidate. Filly is coupled in the wagering with "Manitoba Miss".
3rd pick: #5 (Senior Rita Lady) - Stretch runner returns from a seven-week layoff and has been working steadily for her come-backer. Trainer Rick Violette adds blinkers in an attempt to coax a bit more speed out of her today. Filly has been consistent on this course (4-1-1-1).
4th pick: #4 (Cable) - Daughter of "Dynaformer" has a lot of raw talent and will be making only her second start since last August, and only her fourth career run. In a barn (Chris Clement) having a great meet and she's a late threat for "all the marbles."
