Top pick: #8 (ELATED) (7-2) - Daughter of 'Kitten's Joy' rallied to finish second here at this level going a mile May 10th. It was her first since debuting in late October at Gulfstream Park West and she's making back-to-back starts for the first time. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Vouch for Kitten) (4-1) - Another filly by 'Kitten's Joy', she ships in from Churchill Downs where she finished fourth of 10, beaten 3 1/2 lengths when debuting on the grass going a mile May 1st. Ramsey home bred moves from an outside post to the rail and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Nimble Foot) (12-1) - Irish import rallied while wide to finish third here May 10th. Nice effort saw her only 1 1/2 lengths behind 'Elated.' It's noted that she finished third of 22 facing males when she debuted at the top track in Ireland (The Curragh) last October.
4th pick: #11 (Robe) (8-1) - Barn (Bill Mott) is having a strong meet 47-10-6-8 and he sends out this lightly-raced filly by 'Arch.' Home bred ran well when debuting at Gulfstream March 11th and did so despite a poor start from a tough post (12th of 12). She recovered to press a solid pace and is a threat at a big price.
5th pick: #12 (Southern Gem) (6-1) - Pletcher trained filly has raced evenly in all three appearances. She's showing a bit of improvement, but it's noted that John Velazquez abandons her for #6 'Coming Attraction.'
