She went 6-2-2-0 in Europe including a close up fourth-place finish in the $1,100,000 Prix Diane (Group 1) a bit over a year ago. Her two wins have both come when fresh and Clement (25% off of long layoffs) adds lasix (26%).
2nd pick: #6 (Queen's Parade) (3-1) - Steady performer has gone 5-0-3-2 at this level dating back to last September. Most have come at this demanding 11-furlong trip and mare is 6-1-4-1 on the Belmont grass.
3rd pick: #3 (Carnevale) (9-2) - The second of the Clement pair, English import raced evenly when finishing third, 1.5 lengths behind 'Queen's Parade' at Aqueduct April 20. Race was at this level and distance and she should factor with a repeat of that effort.
4th pick: #7 (Bold Contender) (5-1) - Lightly-raced and still improving, 3-year-old ships from Churchill Downs where she rallied to win a first-level allowance going nine furlongs May 27. Strong finisher is the type that can 'run all day' and this promising sophomore would love for a fast and/or contested pace to develop.
