Top pick: #5 (FABULOUS STRIKE) - He's actually improved as he's gotten older and has developed a bit of a rating gear which he did not have in his younger days. Has a big speed-ball on the rail and he'll have to avoid an early "tussle" with him. That strategy worked at Saratoga when he wore him down in the last 1/8th in the "A.G. Vanderbilt" (G2) on August 9. Working superbly for this and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Munnings) - Likes this course (3-2-1-0) and those two wins here have been the two most impressive races of his career. Re-tooled by trainer Todd Pletcher after a pair of longer races he shoul be sitting third here right behind the leaders around the far turn. Believe he has the best chance at an "upset".
