Working fast since and she's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Lady Sabelia) (5-1) - Another with early speed, mare is working sharply at her home base of Laurel for her first start since May 15. A three time winner in sprint stakes, her ability to rate a bit is a plus as the top would appear to be occupied by 'Hey Kiddo' or 'R Free Roll'. Has a shot if ready off the 5 1/2 month layoff.
3rd pick: #4 (R Free Roll) (6-1) - Veteran speedball ships up from Gulfstream for her first start since Sep 11. She's won many sprint stakes during her career and took the Honorable Miss (G2) at Saratoga in late July of 2014. Working fast, she'll need to try and out-run 'Hey Kiddo' out of the gate. Not impossible if that's the case.
4th pick: #1 (Classic Point) (7-5) - The morning line favorite, mare is seeking a repeat score in this $100K stakes. Stalker has the rail and is working nicely leading up to this attempt. The pace will be fast and that gives her stretch running tactics a bonus. A win candidate, but no lock at a short price.
