Stalker has been all over the world during the past 22 months and fits well with these. Gelding has a solid shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #5 (Pure Sensation) (3-1) - Very consistent speed-ball has been freshened up since winning a pair of G3 turf sprints during the early part of the summer. One of those was the local Jaipur Stakes which was at this distance June 11. Training nicely for his return, this is his 'prep' for the Breeder's Cup Turf Sprint (G1) at Santa Anita Nov. 5th.
3rd pick: #3 (Long On Value) (7-2) - Stretch runner was only a 'neck' behind 'Green Mask' Aug. 20th at Saratoga in the Troy Stakes. Most all his success has come going a bit longer, so he'll need some pace help and will have to avoid any traffic issues for his come-from-behind style.
4th pick: #2 (Disco Partner) (4-1) - From the same owner (Patricia Generazio) as 'Pure Sensation,' the pair race uncoupled due to different trainers. Grey home bred has a fine local record (6-3-2-0), and State bred has really stepped up his game this year. Dangerous from off the pace in this spot.
