Top pick: #1 (WINTER MEMORIES) - Very lightly raced and also very talented, grey daughter of "El Prado" has spent her entire career on the grass (9-6-1-0) and she's a perfect 3-for-3 at Belmont. 4-year-old became a Grade 1 winner last September on this course when she won the Garden City Stakes and filly has been training sensationally for her first start since last October. Has a new rider today (Ed Castro) and she's the choice for the win.
2nd pick: #2 (Federation) - English-bred filly has really picked up her game since coming to the states and joining the barn of Chris Clement. An ordinary performer in five starts abroad, she's gone (3-2-1-0) and last out at Tampa Bay Downs she finished a close up second to the excellent mare "Zagora". She has good positional speed and the inside post.
3rd pick: #6 (My Redbyrd) - Longshot won her seasonal debut when rallying to take a small stakes at Aqueduct April 14th. Race was her first in 4 1/2 months and last fall at Keeneland she finished a respectable fourth to "Winter Memories" in a G3 stakes.
