Top pick: #7 (YATTASSMOKEM) - Daughter of "Smoke Glacken" improved when switched to the grass in her second start and finished fourth of eight, beaten eight lengths when racing here at this level and distance on Sept. 14. Trainer Jimmy Jerkens has worked her three times since and will add the "hood" (a 21% winning angle).
2nd pick: #4 (Vacationing) - Filly by "Harlan's Holiday" cost $300K and is still seeking her maiden after eight previous tries. Freshened up since Sept. 1, she has some closing punch and has been facing much tougher field than this. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Dawn Glory) - English-bred makes her North American debut and does so for a new trainer (Chris Clement 29% first out with European imports). Owned and bred by Queen Elizabeth, filly finished a career best third on August 8th when facing males before shipping west.
4th pick: #6 (Witch Way North) - Lightly-raced filly has finished third in both 2012 appearances after returning from a seven month layoff in late June. Improving sort will be cutting back in distance and racing around one turn for the first time.
