Top pick: #9 (SLEEPY FREUD) - He's one of two entered here by trainer Linda Rice and the pair will race as separate interests. Gelding by "Freud" improved a "tin" when switched to the grass last out when he chased the pace and held gamely to finish 3rd of 11, beaten 3 lengths here on Sep 16. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #4 (Johnny's Cage) - Debuting son of "Speightstown" has a very steady work tab dating back to July and some of works are on the "quick" side. In the Tagg barn and it's interesting to see Dominguez aboard when he had other options.
rd pick: #5 (Little Dale) - He has plenty of speed and his best race ever came in his only grass start. He set a fast pace that day at Saratoga and just faild to hold on as he finished 2nd, beaten less than a length. Obvious contender.
th pick: #8 (My Pal of Pals) - Longshot improved alot when switched to grass in his 2nd start. He chased a fast pace and weakened abit lte to finish 4th here on Sep 22. John Velazquez gets the call this afternoon.
th pick: #6 (Alarmed Ndangerous) - The 2nd of the Rice duo raced evenly and finished a distant 3rd when debuting here on the 22. He was on virtually even terms with "Pal" at the wire and Dominguez jumps off for the Tagg "firster".
