Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (CONTROL GROUP) (8-1) - Lightly-raced 3-year-old moves way up in class in his first facing winners. New York bred broke his maiden going a mile March 26 at Aqueduct in his first of a Rodriguez claim and a subsequent nine week freshening. He gives away a lot of experience to the others, but has a shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #6 (Phat Man) (7-2) - NEW gelding ships from Kentucky where he missed by a 'nose' at this level and distance April 21 at Keeneland. Lightly raced and improving, trainer Joe Sharp has him working fast locally and Luis Saez who rode him last out is back aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Dogtown) (4-1) - The probable main speed, he tired after being involved in a pace-duel here at this level May 4. Much sharper in three straight prior to that and he should be in this from gate-to-wire.
