Claimed that afternoon by Oscar Barrera III, she enters off a bullet half-mile breeze May 9 and 3-year-old has a nice outside post. Win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Magari) (7-2) - One of two 4-year-olds entered, she chased and held down the place spot here at this level going 6 furlongs May 3. Home bred has been bet in all four starts and is an obvious contender this afternoon.
4th pick: #5 (Long Eyelashes) (4-1) - One of two making their debuts, daughter of 'Mineshaft' has worked seven times here since March 31. In a top barn (Rudy Rodriguez), Irad Ortiz Jr is aboard, and this 3-year-old filly need not be anything special to factor first out against this group.
