Top pick: #5 (BLUE BALLERINA) (7-2) - She enters off a career best when finishing 2nd of 10, beaten a 1/2 length racing on this course going 7 furlongs at this level on May 5th. Solid effort came in her second off a seven week freshening and she should get a fast/and or contest pace to rally into. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #6 (Quintile) (6-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of grass sire "Langfuhr" rallied while wide to finish second here at this distance racing for a $25K tag April 27th. That was a career best and trainer bruce Levine claimed her for himself that afternoon. He brings her back in just under four weeks and moves her upto run for a $40K price-tag.

3rd pick: #8 (Malibu Queen) (3-1) - She pressed a fast pace while racing wide before tiring when debuting at Gulfstream goin a mile facing special weights on Feb. 1st. On the sidelines since, a dangerous small barn (Mike Mariena) drop her into a claimer and shortens her up in distance. A sharp 5-furlong local breeze nine days also indicates her readiness.

4th pick: #7 (Madre Ditutticapi) (6-1) - Filly by "Street Boss" exits the same May 5th race as "Ballerina" and she tired to finish third after setting a very quick pace. She moves out in gate, and that's a plus in these turf sprints.
