Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (PUNKED) (9-2) - One of two entered by Chad Brown, and the pair of fillies race uncoupled. Lightly raced Irish import finished 4th at Keeneland at this distance facing similar April 11. She encountered some very serious traffic problems, or I think she may have won that afternoon. It was her first since Aug. 19, first in No. America, and she gets a slight edge here. Make sure you box your exactas in this race as it's a competitive one.
2nd pick: #2 (Best Performance) (5-2) - $300,000 daughter of 'Broken Vow' has been competitive in all four turf starts and finished 2nd Nov. 3 at Del Mar in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). Away for almost five months, she finished a close up 4th in a $125,000 stakes at Gulfstream in her March 31 return. An obvious win candidate, and the probable favorite.
3rd pick: #7 (Radiant Beauty) (8-1) - Longshot missed by a 'neck' going a mile while also facing a weaker group at this level April 18 at Aqueduct. Speed/stalker was racing off a 5.5-month layoff and is capable of getting a share at a big price.
4th pick: #6 (Salsa Bella) (7-2) - The second of the pair from Chad Brown, lightly raced French import was sharp in both starts this past winter in Florida and has a fine series of works showing for her first since March 10. Filly must be left in the mix.
