2nd pick: #9 (Cheesrate) (7-2) - She comes off a career best when she finished second of 12,beaten just over a length when racing here at this level and distance on May 22nd. She's worked fine since and will be going third off a lengthy layoff (8 months) and that's often a horses best.
3rd pick: #12 (Wicked Disco) (15-1) - Longshot showed some fine early speed before backing up racing here at this tag and trip on May 22nd. Race was her first in 11 months and was a positive one. Note that trainer Jim Ryerson replaces apprentice Franco with Juan Ortiz for this attempt.
4th pick: #5 (Pan Dulce) (4-1) - Bred for the grass, daughter of "Candy Ride" ships in from Philly Park where she rallied to finish third, sprinting on the dirt at this tag. Race came off a 2 1/2 month layoff and trainer Mike Matz has her making back-to-back starts for the first time.
5th pick: #1 (Mighty Reward) (8-1) - Filly has raced herself back into shape following a seven month layoff and last out chased while wide and finished third. Breaks from the rail and can factor if she avoids any early traffic issues heading into the turn.
