Top pick: #5 (SWEET ACCLAIM) (5-2) - Irish-bred filly has gone 4-1-2-1 overall and enters off of a pair of second-place finishes in stakes since coming off almost a seven month layoff April 17th. She has experience on this course and enough tactical speed to not get "buried" early on. The top pick, but reverse your exactas.
2nd pick: #3 (Walk Close) (4-1) - Undefeated (2 for 2) daughter of "Tapit" broke her maiden on this course when debuting in late Sept. when going 7-furlongs. Given the winter off by trainer Chris Clement, she rallied to win at this distance on May 18th when facing entry-level allowance foes. Working well since and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Super Sky) (6-1) - The field's most experienced filly, she's gone 6-1-3-1 on the turf and ships back up from Monmouth where she won a first-level allowance on May 18th. Nice effort came off almost a two month break and trainer Todd Pletcher has his main rider (John Velazquez) aboard. Price play has a flexible style and that's a plus.
4th pick: #2 (Nisharora) (5-1) - One of two Irish-bred fillies from Team Valor International and the pair run as separate betting interests. Un-raced in just over a year, she was stakes placed in Italy and defeated a large field of mostly males when breaking her maiden in France. Training steadily and she has Lasix added for her North American debut.
