Askal Way (#1) - Shipped from overseas to make bold move while taking U.S. debut against lesser foes and earning a 102 Beyer speed figure. Improvement expected in second start and class hike well within reach.

Proud Man (#6) - Has chosen some tough company to make 2006 debut against, but he's used to running off the layoff. Fits with these and could get in exotics at a big price.

Golden Commander (#7) - Consistent turf runner has now finished first or second in 10 of 19 races on the lawn, mostly against stakes caliber foes. Class of the race will have plenty of pace to pick up.

L'oiseau D'Argent (#9) - Will be on, or near the lead, from the gate. Likely pace-setter has tons of back class and trainer McLaughlin is on fire, taking Preakness and Belmont stakes!
