Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (INVESTIGATOR) (4-1) - Like many entered, he's well bred and lightly raced. $170K son of 'Super Saver' has been freshened up since March 24. He just missed that day at this level going a mile on Aqueduct's inner surface. He's working fast for a new trainer (Wayne Catalano) and runs with blinkers on. Colt gets a slight edge.
nd pick: #2 (Arthur Avenue) (12-1) - Longshot was bet heavily when debuting in a dirt sprint at this level Jan 9 at Aqueduct. He was never involved after 'hitting the gate' at the break from his inside post. Working fast for his return, trainer Michelle Nevin is adding Lasix to this $415,000 son of 'Bellamy Road.'
rd pick: #10 (Brooklyn Major) (8-1) - Price play has been competitive in three of his last four starts, all at this evel sprinting. He has a flexible style and draws a great post at this 6.5-furlong trip. Factors today.
th pick: #13 (D'Eloquent) (6-1) - Blinkers go on gelding who finished fourth of nine, beaten two-lengths when debuting here May 14. He was only a bit more than a length behind 'Brooklyn Major' that day and comes from an under-rated barn (Mike Dilger).
th pick: #8 (Massena) (15-1) - He showed almost nothing when debuting here in a grass sprint at this level May 4. However, he's working very fast since, switches to the dirt, and it's of note that Irad Ortiz Jr. gets aboard this longshot.
