Top pick: #9 (ZLOTY) (7-2) - Filly has been sharp in both starts, and broke her maiden here going 8.5 furlongs on Oct. 3rd. Daughter of "Exchange Rate" has a good closing kick and enough early speed to stay close heading into the turn. The top pick in a "wide open" contest.
nd pick: #10 (Summerdale) (20-1) - Longshot won her debut on Sept. 11th racing on this course going 7-furlongs. New York-bred has worked fast since, draws well, and can factor at a big price.
rd pick: #5 (Ketel Twist) (15-1) - Daughter of "Dixie Union" has been sharp in all her starts (4-1-3-0), and broke her maiden here at this distance on Sept. 22nd in a race that was switched to the main track. Stalker has finished second in all three grass starts, and should be involved every step.
th pick: #6 (La Reine Bourbon) (6-1) - She won her debut on Aug. 4th at Saratoga, then raced very poorly there 24 days later in the "P.G. Johnson" stakes. Freshened up since late August, she can factor with her best.
th pick: #7 (Bikini Beauty) (8-1) - Home-bred by "Bernardini" debuted here on Sept. 7th, and was an impressive maiden winner while displaying a strong late kick. Filly raced evenly while wide last out, and gets the addition of lasix today (a 28% winning move by trainer Chris Clement).
