Top pick: #10 (STOCK FUND) (3-1) - Long-time maiden moves back to the grass, and stretches back out in distance after finishing second at Saratoga going 5.5 furlongs at this level on Aug. 31st in a contest that was switched to the main track. The distance, post, and style are fine, and she's finished second in four of six on this surface.

nd pick: #11 (Amber Morning) (2-1) - She's lightly raced and showed noticeable improvement in her second start when she missed by a 1/2 length at Saratoga at this condition going a mile on Aug. 11th. Race was her first around two-turns, and she improved her "figure" significantly over her debut.

rd pick: #12 (Celesta) (12-1) - Price play raced evenly in the same Aug. 11th race as "Morning," then improved her position late in a "switched" contest last out. Daughter of "Bernstein" runs third back off a brief freshening and should offer whatever she has in this spot.

th pick: #4 (As Well) (7-2) - Home-bred has been competitive in all three starts since coming off a 5 1/2 month layoff in late June. She has ability, and it's nice to see J.J.Castellano back on the re-ride.

th pick: #8 (Quiet Kiss) (10-1) - Lightly raced home-bred by "Quiet American" has improved since switching to the grass, and last out displayed a strong closing kick. Stretch threat.
