Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (SONGBOOK) (3-1) - Lightly-raced filly broke her maiden at Monmouth in a grass sprint May 31. Sent in for a two month break, she was beaten 3-lengths racing for a $40K tag Aug 27 at Saratoga. Well bred 3-year-old is taking a drop in class and gets a slight edge.
nd pick: #11 (Krista's Persona) (10-1) - Speedy filly has won two of her last four starts, including a wire-to-wire maiden win going 5-furlongs on the Philly Park turf Aug 4. Much improved, long shot draws a nice post to use her speed from.
rd pick: #3 (Awesome Quick) (4-1) - Filly has been freshened up since July 30 at Saratoga. Speed/stalker was sharp in both starts on this surface earlier in the year, she's working well and is dropping in class. Win candidate.
th pick: #2 (Bi Light of Day) (8-1) - She's dropping in class and cutting back in distance. Mare will be racing far back in this shorter contest, but may pass enough to grab a share at a big price.
th pick: #1 (More Stormyweather) (6) - California shipper runs first off a Jamie Ness claim (a strong 30% winning angle). She fits with her best, but has been racing evenly for some time now. The trainer's record off the claim makes this grey filly tough to eliminate.
