2nd pick: #8 (Compelled) (3-1) - Daughter of 'War Front' stretches out to a mile following a close up 3rd place finish on the Saratoga turf going 5.5 furlongs Aug. 12th. A major player.
3rd pick: #10 (Cosi Bella) (4-1) - One of two from the barn of Chad Brown and the pair race uncoupled. Filly sold for $360,000 this past March as a 2yo in training. She has a dozen published works showing, all at Saratoga. Three of those indicate speed and talent.
4th pick: #7 (Elandess) (12-1) - One of two from trainer Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. Debuting daughter of 'Scat Daddy' is bred for turf success and has breezed seven times since late July. Pletcher wins at a 20% rate first out.
5th pick: #2 (Jumby Bay) (6-1) - The second of the Pletcher fillies stretches out after a pair of 4th place finishes at Saratoga in sprints. Blinkers go on, and she must be left in the mix.
