Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (FOURSTAR CROOK) (4-1) - Lightly-raced filly rallied while very wide to finish fourth July 29 at Saratoga going a mile. It was her first in 8 1/2 months and she should move forward off of it. Stretch runner can take this with a trouble free trip.
2nd pick: #6 (Showersofsweetness) (7-2) - The probable favorite, she rallied from close range to finish second at this level when debuting Aug 22 at Saratoga. Freshened up since, she's a win candidate with a repeat of her first outing.
3rd pick: #7 (Kodiva) (5-1) - Irish import just missed in her North American debut at Philly park Sept 19. It was only her second back from a 7 1/2 month layoff and filly is in the barn of 'Hall of Famer' Jonathan Sheppard. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (On the Trail) (10-1) - Lightly-raced and well bred, she finished second of five here in an 'off the turf' contest Sept 11. Home bred by 'Bernardini' raced evenly in her first pair on the grass and is a threat with a bit of improvement.
5th pick: #10 (French Dressing) (20-1) - Long shot may grab a small share at a very big price if she can avoid a wide trip from this outside post.
