Top pick: #7 (LETSGOTOVEGAS) (3-1) - Lightly-raced and well bred, filly was an easy maiden winner here at this distance May 13th. Speedy sort earned a nice figure that afternoon and daughter of 'Indian Charlie' still has room for upside. Nicely spotted in her first facing winners and I like her chances right back.
2nd pick: #4 (Underthemoonlight) (5-1) - She's dropping back down in class after a pair of even efforts facing New York bred first-level allowance foes. The last time she raced at this level, she rallied to finish second at Aqueduct in late March.
3rd pick: #8 (Edith) (4-1) - Daughter of 'Freud' had a perfect trip and set-up here May 7th and she just missed (a 'neck') racing at this level going 6.5-furlongs. By far a career best, 4-year-old is a threat if it's repeatable.
4th pick: #1 (Miss Loretta Lynn) (10-1) - Beautifully bred filly raced both wide and evenly here facing tougher on the turf May 2nd. It was her first in almost two months and a positive effort. Trainer Steve Klesaris drops her in class, shortens her up, and has her racing on the dirt for the first time. Don't just dismiss her.
