Top pick: #6 (BRANDINI) (3-1) - Filly hasn't raced since last October when she finished second in back-to-back starts here at this level and distance. Four-year-old spent the winter in training at Palm Meadows and had a near bullet on the Saratoga training track on May 8th after shipping north.
2nd pick: #3 (Saythreehailmary's) (2-1) - Home-bred daughter of "Repent" rallied to finish 3rd of 10, beaten 1 1/2 lengths when debuting in a 6-furlong sprint at Aqu. on April 27th. Daughter of "Repent" took some betting action and might have won that day if not for some serious traffic problems turning for home. Good small barn (John Morrison) brings her back in four weeks and stretches her out in distance. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Agate) (4-1) - One of two fillies entered by trainer Dave Donk and the pair race uncoupled. Grey daughter of "Holy Bull" is lightly raced, improving, and is stretching out in distance.
4th pick: #2 (Kelly's Prize) (6-1) - The second of the Donk duo, she enters off a fourth-place finish on the Aqu. turf when racing at this level and distance on April 25th. Filly was coming off a 5 1/2 month layoff that day and must be left in the mix.
