Top pick: #9 (OGERMEISTER) (3-1) - Gelding chased and held down the place spot April 24th at Aqueduct going 6-furlongs on the dirt for a $25K tag. It was his first since late October and 4-year-old was claimed that afternoon by Dave Jacobson. New barn has worked him three times since and will switch him to the turf while moving him up in class. New trainer wins at a 31% rate first off the claim and this stalker finished second facing tougher in a grass sprint at Saratoga last August.

2nd pick: #7 (Black Tide) (6-1) - Another racing first off a claim, he broke his maiden last out on the Aqueduct dirt racing for a $40K tag. Taken that day by Michelle Nevinm, she moves him up in class and has him racing on turf for the first time. Nevin wins at a solid 28% clip off the claim and this improving 3-year-old is a threat at a square price.

3rd pick: #4 (Scattered Dreams) (12-1) - Long shot drops down a bit after being beaten 3-lengths here at this distance on the grass May 5th. He's racing back into shape following a 2 1/2 month break and can factor at a big price.

4th pick: #8 (Artie Crasher) (5-2) - Very lightly-raced 4-year-old may go favored in this spot. He rallied to finish second, beaten a length going a mile at this level on the Aqueduct turf April 15th. Son of grass champ 'Artie Schiller' has been competitive in four of five lifetime starts (all on the turf) and must be left in the mix.
