Top pick: #6 (WINGS OF FORTUNE) (7-2) - Colt likes to hang a bit at crunch time, but always come to run and has finished second in 7-of-8 grass attempts. He's been involved with several fields better than this and ships in from Keeneland where he had a troubled trip on April 4th. He has a new trainer (Philly Park based Marya Montoya), and can take this if he holds his out of town form.
2nd pick: #2 (Papy) (4-1) - Very lightly-raced home-bred by "Dynaformer" broke his maiden on the Gulfstream turf going 1 1/2 miles on March 19th. Gelding followed that up by running second here at this level in a contest that was switched to the main track on May 2nd. Four-year-old is in a good barn (Chris Clement) and still has room for upside.
3rd pick: #3 (Legendary) (5-1) - English-bred import ships in from Keeneland where he rallied to finish second at this level going 12-furlongs April 17th. It was his first in this country, first since Feb. 3, and it's duly noted that Castellano is aboard. Win candidate.
4th pick: #1 (Away Game) (12-1) - He enters off a career best figure when he broke his maiden going 1 1/8th miles on the Aqu. dirt April 26th. Trainer Rick Violette moves him to the grass for the first time and 3-year-old is bred for turf success ("Lemon Drop Kid"). He has early speed, draws the rail, and can impact at a big price.
