He sends out this $150K son of 'Mineshaft' who missed by a 'neck' in a well bet debut April 15 at Aqueduct. The probable favorite, he's worked twice since, and draws outside of the other speed.
2nd pick: #6 (So Noted) (8-1) - One of six that are making their debuts, he was initially prepared at Gulfstream before shipping north. Some of his works are on the quick side, including a near bullet half-mile breeze from the gate in Florida April 25. Dangerous at a square price.
3rd pick: #2 (Thank You) (5-1) - Stakes placed maiden finished second in three of five dirt starts last year as a 2yo. Stalker is training fast for his first since Oct. 18th and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #3 (True Bet) (7-2) - He's a NEW gelding and has shown improvement in his last three starts. Speedy sort finished third at Aqu. April 15 and was 1 1/2 lengths back of 'Whale Rock' that afternoon. He's worked fast twice since and should be involved from start-to-finish.
