Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (CONQUEST LUCKNLOVE) (3-1) - 4yo tired after setting the pace to finish 3rd at this level April 20 at Aqueduct. It was her first back from a 70-day break, and she was a bit 'rank' in the early stages. She's worked twice since and trainer Chad Brown has her set for a big effort.
nd pick: #9 (Conquest Sarahstar) (7-2) - Expensive($650,000) daughter of 'Lemon Drop Kid' is stretching out in distance after missing by a 'head' going five furlongs on the Gulfstream grass at this level April 15. Bred to love this longer distance and is a win candidate in a strong and well bred field.
rd pick: #10 (Charlote's Star) (6-1) - Grey filly by 'Tapit" cost $700,000 back in 2014 and is making her second start. She raced both wide and evenly when debuting at Gulfstream Park April 2 and should improve in this spot. It's noted that Irad Ortiz, Jr. is aboard.
th pick: #7 (Last Resort) (6-1) - Strong finisher has been freshened up since a pair of good efforts earlier this year at Santa Anita. 3yo is working nicely at Fair Hill for her East Coast debut, and her trainer (Tom Procter) is two for three at this young meet.
th pick: #8 (Quant) (10-1) - From the same barn (Chris Clement) as 'Charlote's Star,' she was working fast at Payson Park before being sent North for her debut. Home bred by 'War Front' may contend at a big price.
