3rd pick: #8 (Complicit) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Chad Brown, filly has been out of action since last summer. Daughter of Blame' finished second in both starts at that time and did so here at this distance July 2. Brown wins at a solid 29% off of long layoffs and it's noted that Irad Ortiz Jr is back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #4 (Her Latest Film) (8-1) - Daughter of 'War Front' finished a troubled fourth when debuting at this level going 5 furlongs at Gulfstream March 25. She's been working above average since shipping to Belmont and is bred to like this longer distance.
