Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (CULPA MIA) (9-2) - With the #1 horse a late scratch, this filly is only of two in this contest that have racing experience. On the sideline since late September, she's training very fast for her return. Three-year-old showed early speed in both previous starts one each on dirt and turf. Can take this if ready.
2nd pick: #8 (Quiet Flirt) (3-1) - One of two well bred fillies from the barn of Chad Brown and they race uncoupled. This daughter of 'Malibu Moon' spent the winter working fast at Palm Meadows in Florida but did not start. Brown wins at a 20% rate first out and has won with 22 of 54 (41%) over the past 16 months when riding Jose Ortiz.
3rd pick: #5 (Your Love) (5-2) - The second of the Brown fillies, daughter of 'Flatter' cost $425,000. She too was prepared at Palm Meadows but did not start in Florida. Brown is already 10-for-25 (40%) at this meet and he's won with 58-of-251 (23%) when teamed up wit Irad Ortiz Jr over the past 16 months.
4th pick: #6 (Sweet Avery) (5-1) - Home bred by 'Distorted Humor' has some sharp works on view and trainer Mark Hennig has John Velazquez interested. With the Brown pair and 'Culpa Mia' taking most of the betting action, this 3-year-old should sneak away at a big price for those that like her chances.
