Top pick: #7 (NEW YORK CHROME) (3-1) - Colt raced evenly following a 'bumping' incident at the break when debuting at Aqueduct April 4. 3yo took some betting action that day while debuting from a 'tricky' rail post that afternoon. He stretches out a furlong, moves off the inside, and gets a slight edge.

2nd pick: #1 (Little Popsie) (5-2) - One of two making their debuts, $210K son of 'Spring At Last' is from the Pletcher barn (24% first out) and has John Velazquez aboard. He breaks from the rail, and if he runs to his a.m. drills, is a strong win candidate.

3rd pick: #5 (Got Winged) (7-2) - Colt ships from Tampa Bay Downs where he finished an even fourth at this distance March 7. Colt was competitive in all three starts in 2014 when at this level and just missed here Oct. 8th in his only previous race at Belmont.

4th pick: #3 (Jai Alai) (5-1) - The second of the debuting colts, he's been in steady training at Belmont since early January. Many of the works are well above average, but trainer Mike Hushion is not known for first out success. However, there are exceptions to every rule.
