Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (BARLEEWON) (3-1) - A lightly raced son of 'Animal Kingdom,' he chased the winner every step last out and held to finish a solid 2nd at this level June 4. A career-best to date, the colt was racing off a 2.5-month layoff, and trainer Mike Stidham has John Velazquez aboard.
2nd pick: #6 (Mundacious) (10-1) - He moves from dirt to turf after tiring to finish 4th of 10, beaten by 11.5 lengths here at this trip on the main track June 7. Longshot is on the grass for the first time, and I like that Luis Saez, nine for 46 (20%) when teamed up with trainer Jeremiah Englehart, is on this gelding for the first time.
3rd pick: #10 (Aintitfunkynow) (7-2) - This homebred has been competitive in all three on the grass. Last out he checked in 3rd, four lengths behind 'Barleewon' June 4 in his first on the grass since Nov. 16. Stalker is in the mix with Irad Ortiz, Jr. back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #5 (Justintimeforwine) (6-1) - He's been on the sidelines since showing nothing on the main track at Aqueduct Feb. 14. Very sharp the last three times he's been on the grass, his early speed makes him a threat if ready off almost 4.5 months of inactivity.
