Top pick: #9 (STRIKE ACCORD) - Home-bred daughter of "Smart Strike" runs off a 100-day layoff and will be moving back to the grass. 3-year-old has been competitive in both previous turf attempts and one-run type is working steadily for her return. She has a nice post at this trip and is the horse to beat.
nd pick: #8 (Rock N Cozy) - Speedy sort didn't break sharply here on April 28th, but did make up late ground under a patient ride. Daughter of "Rockport Harbor" is making back-to-back starts for the first time since the fall of 2010 when she finished second in both. Win candidate.
rd pick: #2 (Red Code) - Filly runs first off a Juan Guerrero claim (a 34% winning angle) and she's been competitive in both grass races facing weaker. New barn moves her up in class and she must be left in the mix.
th pick: #3 (Royal Suspicion) - Moved to the grass for the first time on May 18th, filly rallied late to just miss at this distance facing $25K "open" company. By far her best yet, and she fits nicely with the major players.
th pick: #4 (Ibid) - Goes first off a Dave Jacobson claim (29%) and this filly rallied while racing greenly to finish 3rd racing on the dirt May 20th. Trainer brings her back quickly and that's one of his best moves.
